just got my Hill Engineering gearlever anti-theft locking plate for the 355......requires gear lever to be in reverse then you lock it up with the plate....my question.......is there any problems in having the car set in reverse for long periods of time?

I have the same locking plate.
There is no problem leaving the transmisson in any gear while parked.
Just make sure you use your clutch when engaging reverse (with the engine off)....saves wear and tear on the internals.

I am not sure with ferraris, but my acura nsx owners manual says the car is suppose to be parked in reverse upose to first gear...i live in FL where there are no hills, soo neutral and e-brake for me...
