I do know of a couple owners who have also decided to return the cars. Even though the driving experiance was amazing, they felt they couldn't trust the car.

What did they find? I now have the low beam fault and traffic sign recognition error. Along with these issues and continual Bluetooth connectivity problems, I no longer have the passenger display, the touchpad control, backup camera display or any audio…and the units of measure reset to metric. Car goes back in next week for the third time.

I have other Ferrari’s and toys to play with while this car is away. So, first world problems for sure. While this car is a dream to drive, the tech just isn’t well sorted. I guess I put up with it, because I know how limited the volume is for discovering issues. Yet, these machines certainly aren’t inexpensive, and in a perfect world, shouldn’t continue to have these types of issues.

If it's any consolation..all manufactures are experiencing the same types of issues across the board. Benz, Porsche, BMW etc.

I got mine back last week, they adjusted the hood latch as it was too hard to close, they the. Claim they have removed the other issues with a software update, I haven’t tested it yet but they are confident that they have

very early on I had this type of experience. basically none of the displays showed up anywhere in the car. the problem turned out to be some networking issue between different controllers on the car. there was a software update some months ago that supposedly addressed this - they did a firmware reinstall (which apparently takes an unusually long time) and I have not had that occur since. I do still have issues with apple carplay disconnecting and occasionally not coming up but otherwise it seems to function as I would expect.

Not really, I own all of those and others and dont have these types of issues. This is precisely why I stayed away from this car. I didnt feel Ferrari was ready for this level of tech, I am hoping the 296 and the next iteration will be much better.

So the car is back from the servis after ADAS problem and oalaaa, new problem came up, ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM FAILURE go to dealer, just 4 weeks after the last service visit. It happened during normal driving. I tried to charge the car for more than 24h, and unfortunately the message is still there with engine light on...

When I start the car in hybrid mode without comb. engine, the engine light is on with no other message. Once I go into perform mode with comb. engine on, I got the message about system failure....

Not a good start of ownership, 7weeks since delivery, 1000km and already two issues....

I agree with this, the only issue I’ve ever had with the car is Bluetooth connectivity issues, now I just plug the phone in.

Since I got mine back from the dealer, thus far, everything seems to be working ok. I love driving it so much, it always seems worth the minor hassles with the gremlins

My SIrius XM radio isn't showing up. We looked at a couple other SF90s and same issue. No doubt its a software/firmware issue with the car. I just picked the car up last week. So far outside of that all good.

hi Mike, what did they find on your car? my 2022 spider, 150 miles just has the error codes, low beam fault and traffic sign recognition error. I no longer have the passenger display, the touchpad control, backup camera display or any audio…and the units of measure reset to metric, no backup camera, no hud etc.

    thanks...ge

Due to Winter conditions and the dealer's shop being under construction, the car hasn't been in for service yet. I expect it'll be looked at fairly soon and I'll report back. I'm curious what you find out on yours as well.

I look forward to him eating his tie with this inane prediction. Some are only here for attention they can’t get elsewhere…

    A little humor, no?:D
Otherwise, you know that the more complex it is, the more frequent the breakdowns are...
And then the SD90, it works and it's already good because many were worried:D

Yet you in another thread just professed the opposite for your personal preference. Are you bipolar or have multiple personalities? Not meant as an insult, in all seriousness, it would explain a lot to me, and I’ll lay off.

So Ferrari looked at the data and had my local dealer update the nit software, then reset the 12 volt system and now everything seems to be working properly. it seems that the nit had to be updated to global specs, this has to do with gps communications and was the reason that the car lost the proper time and could not communicate with the sat causeing several systems to fail.

Just an update. Ferrari was able to fix this along with my Bluetooth that would drop out from time to time. Essentially a software updates ( plural) and recycling the system after each update. Now no issues.

My 03/2023 SF90 (with 1600miles on it) gave me today 2 error messages. First I got a „high voltage battery failure“ and I couldnt start or shut down the system. So I got out of the car and waited for 20min. Then, after enganging the start/stop button, I could start the car, even in eD mode, and drive off. After a brief moment, when selecting the qualify mode, I got a 2nd error : Motor-Control System Failure. This one stayed, the High Voltage went away. I will be bringing it to the garage, hope they can fix it. I am sure it is a software bug, cant imagine beeing a mechanical issue. I keep you updated.
