    OK. Here's the deal.

    I live with 5 (that's FIVE) women.

We use untold numbers of tampons.

We only buy what seems to be the most expensive tampons known to man. ("pearl" something or other).

We are careful to only buy one box at a time, so we can make many trips to Walmart.

I announced that I would like to buy a couple of cases of the things on eBay or maybe Sam's.

The idea was....shall I say.... not well received.

You'd think I said we needed to wash them, re-roll them and re-use them.

    Am I an oaf?

Wimmenfolks ain't logical about that kind of stuff.

If they were, we men wouldn't have to make emergency runs for these supplies. After all, it's not like they can't count (hmmm. 25 days ago, and the box is empty....nah, not worth picking up during the scheduled trip to the store)

Smile, nod, and think blissfully of the day when there will be only one wimmenfolk living in your house.

I apologize for your current living situation! Just Kidding!

To me it seems more than logical to buy these things in bulk. I would imagine that they will continue to need them for quite sometime, so buying in bulk seems reasonable to me.

Well, that pretty much highlights the problem right there. I've found that announcing anything to wimmenfolk is often ill received. While you and I know you're the boss at home, most likely they haven't been properly notified. My suggestion, follow Dave's advice, buy that Ferrari, install a urinal in the garage to ward off wimmenfolk and hang out there during those monthly trials.

    Best of luck to you!

Uro, if the tampons lay around too long, they go bad and start to smell...
