    My recently acquired '94 348GTS doesn't have the logo on the radio cover. There is no trace of one ever having been there. All photos of other 348's that I've seen have this badge. Was it an option? Has a previous owner replaced the radio cover (maybe after a radio theft?) and not the badge?

    My '89 348 does not have one either!

    As far as I`m aware no badge was ever fitted to the radio cover on any 348, apart from the USA Serie speciale which has a numbered plaque.

    I have no badge on my 94 Spider.

    Drew,

    I have never seen a 348 with a badge on the radio cover, the picture you have posted shows the cover that we are talking about, but it may have been fitted by the owner??

    The numbered plaque on the US SS model is fitted in the same place.

    I have not seen a 348 GTS, GTB with a badge on the cover, LHD or RHD!!

    I've just remembered that I bought an original 348GT (GTS,GTB,Spider) sales brochure off eBay. I've just consulted it and, sure enough, the spider and the GTS depicted both have the badge. The spider badge is a cheap plastic stick on, but the GTS badge looks like the ts badge in my picture - i.e. it appears to be properly recessed.

    ...... the thot plickens!
