Lola T70 continuation gets FIA approval

    Lola Executive Chairman, Martin Birrane and the company’s founder Eric Broadley unveiled the first car in a new five car series during the Autosport International Show in Birmingham, England. The FIA has approved the the T70 Mark3B as a "continuation series" of the original T70 and therefore historic race-eligible.

    i read about this project several months ago. chaparel (sp?) is doing the same thing w/ one of te series 2 cars.

    i think i'm ok with this? i would certainly be ok with it if i were to own one of these cars and got fia papers for my trouble!

    the mkIII b was/is an awesome machine!!

    We were at the Autosport International show - got a neat photo of the T70 - will have to post it tonight.
