The longest trip I ever done in my 348 has been about 220 miles in one day. I was so exited to drive it, that i did not feel any back pain at all.

I agree. I put about 2000 miles a year, and have never had to add any oil. I check the oil level about once a month.

in 2004, I drove cross country from NY to LA 3500 miles in 6.5 days.
Was a blast - entire trip a blown tire is the only problem we had.
As someone else posted the gas mileage these cars get is amazing on long trips 20+mpg.
If you do the trip cover your fog lights with tape as they are extremely hard to find and expensive.
I did however ship my car from AZ to CA when I first bought it, as I was worried about anything.
Looking back I wish I would have driven it.

No body beats me for distance....from Columbia SC to Indy 40 laps at IRL, and about 20 on the F1 track, to Watkins Glen and back 40 laps, to Toronto and back Mosort 40 laps, Washington DC and back Summit Point, but I guess I'm getting old, had the car shipped to Road America, 30 laps. Trying to decide on wheather or not to drive to Millville NJ for the natinal meet this Sept/Oct....do the math, all trips in one day. All in the first customer 348 Challenge car, no air, racing suspension, challenge exhaust, yada yada yada....

Holy Hemarrhoids batman! Thats a lot of driving. My little 1-2 day trip should hold up well. Thank you all for the comments, keep the stories coming, theyre fun to read how people love to drive these cars. I drove a challenge series car a few weeks ago, the exhaust was impressive, and a bit scary sounding. Loved the car though.
