I figure it's a long shot, but you never know... as the title says, I'd like to borrow a 308 radiator to test fit into my QV. I pulled my leaking radiator out and had it recored. The recored unit doesn't appear to fit. I'd like a known good unit to test fit to check fitment, if that makes sense.

    Thanks!

Edit: I'm in Houston. Forgot to set prefix and don't see a way to edit the title!

Oooh. I'm semi tempted to drive up. Is there any way you could take a couple of measurements for me? Just height and width on the "backside":

Yes, I can go to the storage building in the morning and measure. I do sometimes have trucks from my office going to Houston, what part of town are you in?

Thank you! I seem to have gotten it resolved, car is running again. Space there is much tighter than it appears, a 1/8" spacing made a huge difference in fitment. Did not expect that. I still think my radiator came back not quite sized right, but... it's in there now..

That's great. I am running one of the cheap Chinese radiators in my car now and it seems to work fine. I pulled the old radiator and the condenser out....and replaced them both at one time. Classic Auto Air still has parallel flow condensers that fit.

Ha, I wondered how well those ebay radiators would work... probably should have just ordered one and called it a day.

So onlookers know, I DID offer my car to compare, over on FB.

Glad you got it sorted though...
