Awesome pics, thanks! It is so rare to see another vintage Abarth. Here is my Allemano Spider with his better looking hard top brother.

Two great cars there!. To keep the Ferrari theme alive given the location of this post - here is an interview with Jim McGee regarding Bob Grossman winning the class at Bridgehampton in my 1000 GT Abarth. It is amazing that these little cars held their own with the 250 GTO's. Start with the paragraph "later that year".

    Rob,
Thanks for showing me your Dino yesterday. What a beautiful car you have. The restoration is magnificent! The Alfa and Abarth aren't too bad either.

    George,
Thanks for stopping by - it was great meeting you all. I am looking forward to the Louisville Concours in the Fall. Maybe I could see your Dino when I am there? I realized when I was showing you my car that I was minus my gas cap. I filled the car a few weeks ago at the nearby Shell station, and when I was there I had several people come up to me to talk about the car. Unfortunately being distracted at the time, I have concluded I left the cap on the top of the gas pump, and no luck with their lost and found today. Bill Gojkov who did the restoration is checking around for another original one for me - next time it will go in my back pocket during the fill up!

That is one completely obsessively-redone car. I doubt it was that immaculate when it came from the factory! Remarkable!!
