They joined when the site was a lot smaller i suspect and have watched it grow to 13.000 plus, good on them for sticking it out and supporting Rob and F-CHAT i hope they are rewarded with plenty of business from users here well done.

Besides the passion for Ferrari F-Chat has been instrumental in my hobby, selling Ferrari. Sponsoring F-Chat has come natural.

Ferrarichat has been instrumental for Girodisc in the Ferrari market. Girodisc has been developing racing, showcar, and brake systems for other makes before jumping into the Ferrari market. I was aware of Ferrarichat from my days as an engineer with Brembo, and had used the forums to chat about brakes. I knew that there was no better way to learn what owners wanted than right here.
We are able to make direct contact with owners, dealers, and the market in general. We can plan products around feedback we recieve and announce products all in one place.
Traditional print advertising has only limited potential to allow for interaction with the group you are marketing to. We advertise in Forza for example, but we dont really have any feedback from it.
Simply put, without Ferrarichat, Girodisc would not have bothered to try to market products for Ferraris. As it is now, ithas become one of our strongest markets.

I would like to thank Rob for starting this great site & the support from fellow Ferrari owners on keeping this site growing strong for the Ferrari community. Many of you know I have been the longest running sponsor for F chat & will continue to be. I have to concur with all the prior comments.

As most of you know, we have literally tons and tons of parts for old and new Ferraris having been appointed by the Factory to serve the whole world for cars built prior to 1989.

One of our opportunities is always how to get awareness of the parts to the owners. It is not necessarily obvious for every owner of an old car to try us for parts when infact we might actually have the part they need.

Ferrarichat.com has been one hell of a marketing tool; it actually gets awareness of what we have on the shelf right to the owners and drivers of the cars. Regular postings of prices, technical support and of course photographs by the dozen go a long way in showing our depth and breadth of stock.

Aswell as our stock holding, we like to think that our good service, economical shipping and occasional specials such as July 4th sale day go a long way to giving owners of older Ferraris the service that a Ferrari owner truly deserves.

Well done Rob and God save the Queen !

 

I found Nick and Jill at Forza Ferrari 3.5 years ago when I joined Ferrari Chat and met Martin from Cavillino Motors a short time later.

I can say that not only are they great to do business with but that both have become trusted and great friends.
It is very rare too become such good friends with vendors but I am glad that I did.

Not only does Ferrarichat.com represent a good value for our advertising dollar but it also gives us a chance to support the members who are on-board this website/forum. Spending in support of this forum has the direct result of providing an excellent forum to be enjoyed by all of you, many who are customers of Intercity. Paying for a display ad in a magazine only fattens the pockets of the Publisher. We have reduced our print ad budget and increased website spending considerably.

What amazes me about FerrariChat is the willingness of the "community" to swap information and help others with their problems, not to mention Ferrari owners with no previous experience tackling major repairs to their cars using only the board for advise.

It's like an exclusive club, when I was in Monterey recently I met Rob and a whole host of members of F-Chat, and several of the sponsors and everyone was so friendly and happy to talk about their F-cars etc.

We will always have the time of day to talk to anyone with a question – even if it’s not something we have in stock, we can usually either find it or put them in the right direction.

I would also like to personally thank Rob for opening up the dedicated UK section, as it has become a major gathering point for all the net-based Ferrari owners who are in the UK. We have managed to arrange some of the best days out that anyone could imagine and share these experiences with each other in words and pictures, and its all thanks to being able to communicate with each other right here on F-Chat.
