Oh my, I never thought an MC-12 would end up in Michigan. That is a stunning looking car. Glad to see the federalization didn't harm the looks of it too. Hopefully I will see it around town.

First production year? You make it sound as if there will be a second! They are only building 50 of them worldwide - that's it. I have heard that only 11 of them will be coming into North America.

Sorry to say, but folks, comments like "hey, nice pictures....!", "Great!", Amazing!", "Whow" etc. are not enough!! We all know how an MC12 looks....! And the cameras today are taking good pictures.

You might be right. Here's another instance of one without lenses, at least I can't see them. Also, I didn't take this pic, nor do I know where the car is.

There are 2 production year for the MC12.

1st year (04) produced 25 street verison, 2nd year (05) produced the rest.

And no lenses on European version (I believe no lenses at all on MC12).

None are sold to the US as new, how you hear 11? All MC12 in the US are imported as used.

From my experience, the car is huge and loud. Body is much wider and longer than the Enzo.

Got to sit in the MC12 at the Chicago autoshow when it was here and also saw one on the street in Pebble. I am in love with this car. Somethin about it..just captures me. If it's still around Michigan in January and up for display I may just have to come check her out :).

This doesn't even make sense, why wouldn't they put lenses? It just looks awkward.

Also, do the MC-12 doors open "conventionally"? It looks it from the picture.

Just to amuse Walter, great looking pictures, amazing! Now for the serious side of things, what needed to be done to federalize the car besides the light lenses?

Must say in the pictures the car looks absoutely massive....

The drive? I wish! Don't think it will happen with this car.

I am not sure if they enter the US as used cars. I believe all US bound cars enter the country as "show and display" cars, meaning they are not street legal, however I believe you are allowed to put on a very limited number of miles (I guess to get cars to and from shows).

Actually, it is more quiet than an Enzo, and it almost sounds like it is electric. If you've ever seen "Victory By Design - Ferrari", it sounds like when he gets into the 333SP and is blipping the throttle before he takes off.

As for the body being "much" wider and longer - I wouldn't use the word "much". The rear wing jutting out on each side may give the impression of it being much wider, but that is the only area where that appearance holds true. I will say that the front end of this car is absolutely gorgeous - very clean looking.

I think that lenses would look fine on this car. I would prefer to have them just simply to protect the bulbs.

Doors do open conventionally. I guess that was the only solution since the car has a targa top.

I love this car but it deserves a better paintjob. I have yet to see one in a color that i liked . Blue , Black ...Maybe a full white would be the answer ?

Full pearlescent white would look awesome. I don't think there is enough white exotics out there.

Here's 2 MC12 Race editions. I don't care for all blue, but the black/carbon fiber looks awesome!

Why sorry? I agree with you. But the MC12 is not a pretty car as its too long. But the Enzo also is far from beeing a beauty queen!

    Ciao!
