NO WAY!!! The original Out Run was one of my favorite games growing up. I'm so excited for part 2.

 

whoa, those are some nice screenshots. Unfortunaltey, most of the major arcades were destroyed in the Hurricane down here, maybe some place else I'll see one.

 

I have the old outrun games on my genesis and as roms on my pc to play on an emulator. I also own outrun 2 for the xbox (its $20 or less now, new) and yes its fun in the arcades to.

 

Phfff... That Dino isn't even rusty.

If you like outrun you will absolutely love need for speed most wanted on the xbox 360. Its just like it only incredible graphics. Outrun was one of my all time favs, thank you, that and indiana jones the pinball adventure.

 

I'v played it. Would have been better with a clutch and a 5- or 6-speed tranny instead of the BMW SMG style gear shift. (Pull down for upshifts, up for downshifts) but still very fun

If you check on ebay you can sometimes even find the original game in the original coin operated stand up console.

I got Outrun 2 for my XBox and it is fun. Not realistic in any way, but fun.
