Has anyone got any shots of the car from the side with the doors open?

I've heard it's a bit of a squeeze to get in and out.

    Exactly -
The problem with aftermarket door is they have to open like a normal door first, then they go up... vs straight up in an original.

Then, they must go up high enough to allow full entry. Sometimes the full open "balance point" is not forward enough - that makes it a bear to get in and out. However, this looks like it may work.

Speedcore - where did u get the pix... I see it's a FL car...

I really wouldn't mind the look if this were the only car besides the Countach, Diablo and Murci to have these doors. I think that would be kinda cool....

BUT seeing cars like a Land Rover Discovery pimped to the gills with a pair of LSDs really takes away from the authenticity. It makes it seem like, even though it is a Lambo, the Gallardo with the LSD kit is just copying what everyone else is doing.

I have seen pictures on here of a Black Gallardo with lambo doors. It looked impossible to get in and out of the car. Ill try and dig them up.

I don't like them. Gallardo looks fine with the reguler doors, the Gallardo seems to short of a car to make Scissor Doors look good on it. I dont know... Just my opinion.

It looks cleaner than some of the aftermarkets from the views posted, but I wouldn't do it to my Gallardo. The car gets more than enough attention as is.

I still think ItalCarDesign's enzo-style Gallardo doors look the best in terms of a conversion. Works better with the Gallardo lines. The doors just don't seem proportional to the Gallardo when they shoot straight up compared to the Murci, Diablo, or Countach.

I think this is an example of creative photography -- those pics show the kit when it would look its absolute best -- i.e. you can't see the awkward right-angle the bottom of the door makes, because it's hidden. :)

I think before any of us make a judgement, we need to see this car from the side, with the doors up -- I imagine opinions would change....

Noah made a good point on what the car would look like from the side as apposed to these pics. but I think they should have gone with SOME style of doors (besides conventional) with the Gallardo. In fact I was a little disappointed to find out that the G didn't have the Scissor doors. I think it has become a tradition in which the Bull raises its horns to the world!!!!

BUT I like the kit for now........
PS.....most people are so dumb that they don't even realize the G doesnt have vertical doors......so all is fair.....

Do you know what conversion kit this is? I have been doing a lot of looking around and it seems like there are two that were made for the Gallardo specifically (non-generic).

BF Performance makes one as does Miura Corse by the Lamborghini division of Dimex (they also make a full aero kit with a horrendous looking wing).

The pictures below of the yellow Gallardo have the BF Performance conversion and the next two are the Miura Corse in Sliver. The last photo, shows the entire aero kit by Dimex. GPM Performance sells the Miura Corse doors for $8895.00

PS... and yes, most people are dumb. As chewing gum.

There is a reason why the G doesnt have the "LAMBO" doors, and it should be kept that way. The G just does not look correct with those doors.
