The C type is a Tempero reproduction, I think they are about 170k.

Damn, both of those are rare. That's a very early production Series 1 E-Type with the aluminum switch plate. Or, it was reproduced and converted on this one. Either way, Series 1 roadsters, if original or fully restored condition bring in $45k-$65k without much of a problem.

The C-Type? Excellent reproductions are in the $135-145k range. Perfectly accurate down to the bolt reproductions are $200k cars. Real ones? Well, which would you prefer, Enzo, McLaren F1, or historic Jag? The real ones if you can find them trade for filthy insane prices, the ones with race history, if its not a life goal to own it, you won't stand a chance.

    Thanks for the lovely pics!!!

Really perfect series 1 XKE's are fetching well north of $100k these days. Classic Showcase in San Diego specialize in 99.9 point cars and are finding buyers for them at major auctions like Barrett Jackson and RM.

There is a lesson here for Ferraris that are relatively lower volume like the Maranello 40 years from now. Keep them original and stockpile spares like water pumps and belts and gaskets. They are bound to come in handy some decade or three from now.

That xke is one of the original 61's. They had it a year or so ago were asking 130K. I saw Tom P- one of Autosport Designs owners at the LI Jag driver club show in June - he said they had sold it for 105K and now they have it back, so I wonder what the story is. They car is very nice, although I'm not a fan of the WW tires.

Mr. McKay, the cars in this thread are all from Autosport DESign, which is in Huntington (if you're familiar with the area); they are formerly of Mineola... BesiDES them and FoLI, i pulled into BoLI (Bently)...

Sunny, Dave, et al... You fellas really know your stuff... Pretty awesome... The guy there was very nice; in a rush to get out for his mother's birthday, but told me to stop by anytime... i have every intention of going back... :)

Dang the steering wheel is near horizontal on the 365.

That E-type looks silky smooth - that's definitely for pulling up to a red carpet!!
