I saw a silver one at the Bellagio 2 days ago. I know it's fast as hell but I didn't really care for the way it looked in person.

Looks soooo bland for the money. I knew it great and all, but I would take a CGT over that in a heartbeat. Hell I would even take a 360 coupe.
maybe not a sl65 still looks bland to me for 180,000+ but i guess you could get a 360 and that for the slr
Exactly. And the SL65 has the SLR's engine in it (supposedly de-tuned, but I've heard some wonder if it really is or not). If I want a stealth cruiser, I'll take an SL65.
Yep, I stand corrected. I thought I read somewhere the SLR had a twin-turbo V12 like the SL 65, but I guess I didn't. I'd still take the SL65 plus a 360 CS or 430 over an SLR, though.
a guy the next street over has one....he takes it to work on nice days....it draws very little attention, even a car nut like almost misses it going by...the exhaust note is nothing to write home about...the car has had very disappointing sales for mb...now the carrera gt, thats a different story, that car looks and sounds great !!!!!
Me too... well, I'd at least get a Challenge Stradale and a F430, don't think I'd get a Sl65 though. I'm not a big fan of MB.
I almost drove right past it without noticing it. I first saw it from the rear and if I didn't know we had one in town, I probably would have thought it was just an SLK.
