    Its is street legal for the US. ALL MC12`s in the GT-Version are homologated to the US-market.

    All state side MC12's are gray market cars as Maserati never imported these cars for sale here.

    Several MC 12`s are in the US and their tyres are happily touching public roads. So - they got an official registration! This car in Las Vegas is/was road registered and certificated for road use. I know of a 2nd car in CA also and some on the East Coast that are permitted to get a "run" on the roads.

    Yes, I know there are a few MC12s running around (one was even seen here in Colorado, recently) but what I'm saying is that MNA never officially imported these cars for sale, that's all :)
