    HEY you guys. I am looking for the services you guys have had to do in the past cause I am looking for a bull to park in the stable. I know that the 91,92 had the tentioner problem,,,,,,the roadsters have a roof leaking problem, and they also warp the hhod cause of heat. I want a two wheel drive (I love 2whd cars,call me crazy) SO what kind should I look for. I have a budget of about 150k but could spend a little more. I am truely interested and have about 6 months to look before I figure I'll make a decision.
    SO what do you guys expect to pay for the diablo's of the 90's. I understand the older you get, the older the car. I will expect to drive it as a weekend car, maybe a 2-3k miles a year, more maybe at first. I understand maintenance is expensive, but its an exotic right, have to have exotic prices.haha. Well please leave me you guys's experiences and what maybe I should expect.

    I love the 2WD and they are very fast, mostly due to less weight. You've done the right research. 91 should have tensioner update, 92 was a split year, with some having it from the factory.

    Some cars had a faulty head gasket from the factory. Signs would be overheating or you could "sniff" the water for exhaust. This is a one time fix.

    As in any Diabo, you want to make sure the clutch is good or at least have a record when it was changed.

    The best thing to do is find a good mechanic familiar with Lambo for the PPI and he will know these 3 items to look for.

    Otherwise very solid car... early models are easy to work on - engine and tranny bullet proof.
