Looking at 330 GTC need help with pain color #9295

I am looking at a 330 GTC listed on hemming Vin 9295
The car was once by Fantasy Junction.
The car is currently red,


The build sheet doe not show the body color.
Where can I locate the original color of this 9295

Does anyone have any further info on the car?

I'm sorry I have no guidance where to find documentation on the original color but here's an idea.
Unless the entire car was stripped and dunked in a stripping solution and color changed you should be able to verify the original color (on my car at least) by looking in the trunk.
If you stick your head in the trunk on the far right side you can look forward inside the fender and almost see the passenger door lock post. This area was never undercoated or sealed and on my car I could see the original paint color over-sprayed on the raw original metal. There are many other areas in the trunk that could also be a clue. You could also look in the spare tire area, lots of nooks and crannies that may have original paint. On my car even the frame was painted before undercoating was applied so it's not difficult to verify the original color.

Why not ask the owner to look in these key areas?

 

The owner claims he does not know and has no ideas.
The seller purchased the car back in 2006 from fantasy junction.
There should be a website or a link that list the vin and the color the car left the factory.

Mine was originally a rare BLU (currently Dino Rosso) #10521 will be pinting it shortly as I would like to trade it for a 275 GTB if one pops up
