I'm looking at picking up a 348 from the states as a fun little toy. What should I know before hand? What should I look for when searching? What problems do they have? etc.. Cheers!

I have had my 348 for about 2 months and I am enjoying the hell out of it. As an Italian car, it has its moments, but then again, I am married to an Italian women and she also has her moments. It must be an Italian thing; cars and women!!!! Get a PPI before signing on the dotted one.
348 brothers, I am looking at a 92' 348 B and the ad says "power steering" and "4 speed manual transmission". I thought 348's did not come with power steering, and, I thought they were 5 speed. Is it a typo, or they do exist that way? As well, do Tubi exhausts exist for 348's, and if yes, do they sound close to how they sound on a 355? Thanks, Dean
348s do not have power steering and they are 5 speeds. I have a Tubi with Hyperflow cats. The car sounds awesome!!
No such thing as power steering or 4 speed manuals on the 348 series. The Tubi is the most popular aftermarket exhaust, although the X-ost from Ricambi is gaining popularity for its quality and reasonable price. BT
There is one for sale on Ferrariads.com asking $2200. The new standard price is around $3800 (and figure about $300 for install). BT

Husker, there was no hostility, so dont read so deep into what I posted. I simply wanted to keep the thread on the in's and out's of 348's... not the cost and sound of a tubi exhaust on one.
