I've been looking at the 365 GT4 2+2 on http://www.motorcargallery.com/car23_0.html and I need some advice.

Assuming the car is in very good shape, is the asking price reasonable?
Can anyone recommend a place to get an inspection done in the Ft. Lauderdale area?
Is Motorcar Gallery a reputable dealer?
Is there anything in the photos that is incorrect (other than the tires) for this model Ferrari?
    Is this color Rosso Rubino?
Any other thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm looking to get into the Ferrari world with a car like this one. I'd like to make a good choice.

Looks like a very nice car in pics. Great color. Rosso Rubino...?

Cavallino mag and Ferrari Market letter are good sources for ongoing asking price trends; from the 4 pics...off the top of my head I'd say it's in the fairly priced area.

Call Tim Stanford in Fort Lauderdale. He is a very experienced and honest independant mechanic. It is pretty likely that he would know of that car if it has been in the area for any length of time.

Oh, and by the way I saw that car last weekend at the Polo event in Wellington. My 348 was parked directly behind it most of the day. The exhaust sounds really good. PM Bartonworkman, I think he knows alot about that particular car. Seems like a pretty fair price to me.

the car looks very clean from the pics, but the price still seems a bit high. usually these cars sell in the 20s, even from dealers. maybe if it's perfect, might be worth the extra dollars. hard to tell without knowing much about the car.

Ed Waterman (owner of MCG) will likely deal on the price. I bought my Daytona from him and felt I got a good deal. I would not hesitate to buy another car from him. And definitely get Tim Stanford for the PPI - he's one of the best in the country and a pleasure to deal with.

The 400i cabs they have would be fun, especially the 5-sp!

Thanks for the responses guys. From what I hear, it looks pretty good. I think I'll take a trip and see this one for myself.

been for sale a long long time... a guy from Plano had it (bought originally from Ed at motorcargallery) and couldn't sell it at $25k so sold it back to Ed last year...been up for sale over a year...a little pricey but I talked to the owner and it's been taken care of and exhaust does sound good....I wasn't as happy with Motorcar gallery as the other gentleman...wouldn't buy a car from them again.
