I have had my fun, I have too many cars and am looking at selling my Ferrari. Where should I advertise, what will be best exposure. For sale ad somewhere? Ebay? Consign to a dealer? It was purchased on a whim, it is not a lifestyle. Jon

    Jon, try here first.

Bring a Trailer (though a 512TR may not be the best venue)

eBay, sure, wade through the BS.

Lots and lots of options. I guess it matters how much time you want to dedicate towards it, and if you want random people coming over to inspect/look.

PM me if you wish, I have lots of additional ideas, and love selling.

Sorry to hear that the 512TR isn't doing it for you. I second the idea to advertise here first.
Based off cars that I see continuing to be advertised elsewhere, more 512 TRs are selling at auctions versus dealer/private party advertised cars. I would favor a traditional auction house known for better results with Ferraris such as Bonhams, RM Sotheby's, or Gooding. I wouldn't expect to sell through eBay, but it would get good exposure for the money.

There is a 1993 Rosso Corsa 512 TR with about 16,000 miles being auctioned without a reserve at Bonhams in Monterey in a few weeks. I think this car could give a sense of the current market. Worldwide also has a 512 TR up for auction in Monterey.

Recently, the few yellow 512 TRs that I've seen for sale are asking for more than comparable other color cars. I don't know if they're that more rare that they command a premium. Best of luck with your sale.

I found it on eBay in 2014, bought it offline a short while after the auction closed. have put on 3500 miles in 4 years. It is a 1992 and has been fun. But it is foolish for me to let it sit so much.
