Does anyone know of an available set of Fiorano Handling Pack springs and a sway bar for the 550? I heard a while back that someone had plans of recreating the kit but I don’t think it made it to fruition. Thank you.

According to Ferrari Of Washington, Ferrari will sell you the springs for $1,000 and the bar for $4500. The latter has to be made and is technically NLA, hence the astronomical price. I may grab the springs, but I have to think about that sway bar - I imagine someone out there can craft a perfectly good facsimile for quite a bit less...??

Have never seen a set of new OE Ferrari FHP springs for $1000. They are usually $2k or more. Are these possibly used? Would suggest double checking part numbers and manufacturer.

The springs and rear anti-roll bar have been NLA for several years. The odd set of springs and anti-roll bar show up every once in a while. HGTC springs and anti-roll bar have been good substitutes.

I don't think a dealership will sell used parts, will they?

Terry, do you happen to know a source for the HGTC stuff?

Last I checked, Ricambi and most of the parts dealers still had HGTC springs and the rear anti-roll bar.

last i saw both springs sets were NLA and a few of the HGTC rear bars were available

if i was to do it again i probably would have sprung for the KV coilover kit

Maranello Classic Parts still shows availability on the HGTC front springs, did not check the rears. Might be worth a call. They are Ferrari's repository for a lot of older parts nobody else seems to have.

Point was to be sure exactly what you are getting. The price falls under, sounds too good to be true for new Ferrari correct parts, especially from a dealer.
If you have interest, somewhere in the subject related archives I describe the differences between HGTC & FHP springs as have had both in my 575. The bottom line is the difference is minimal with HGTC being the slightest bit more firm.
    Hope you can find some.

I didn’t think the HGTC springs would be suited for a 550 because the 575 used a different suspension system (skyhook).

Stan- Sure, just like the same springs for FHP would not work for a 550 and 575M with Bilstein and Sachs suspension systems. Except they are exactly the same. HGTC springs are just slightly stiffer than FHP springs with the same length and wire diameter. They will work fine. The HGTC springs are listed as alternatives to the FHP springs in the parts catalog.

Seems that eurospares.co.uk has all parts (front and rear springs, rear anti-roll bar) available for the 550 FHP.
