Looking for 308 tool kit and lamp?

I have a very nice jack kit available if that helps.

 

Try Ferrari UK they once inventoried the 328 Tool Roll, brand new.

 

I have two 1977 rolls, as a last resort.

 

They come up regularly on Ebay for relatively sensible money - or are you looking to secure the legendary huge FChat discount off a fellow owner !

He's a Fchatter.(probably our in house expert on ALL tools actually) ..that's a nice one at a fair price (insulated pliers are later 328, IIRC)

Only needs the plug wrench (really, you would use Craftsman for that function real world) and a Weber tool (which I haveNO idea what it does) to make it complete for carbed cars.

Looks to be 'as new" in condition...

I'd peg that one into the early '80s too, the screwdrivers are still amber clear handles, yet the wrenches have lost all the "Everest Forged in India" and are labeled as "Ferrari".
An injected car would obviously have no Weber tool....

Pierce Manifolds will sell you the Weber tool....

 

I recall seeing a couple of tool kits advertised recently on Ebay. Do a search for 308 in the parts and accessories section of Motors, and it should pop up. You might start with 308 tool kit for your search, but if nothing comes up, just search 308 generally in parts and page through all the garbage that shows up. You'll see them eventually.

 

I just saw a 308 lamp on eBay 2 days ago, and two 308 tool rolls, all in separate listings...

 

You are right it WILL take some time, all that junk....that would make me Buy It Now on Tom S's deal...LOL!

They got those ball caps now, with the LEDS in the brim and catchy slogans like "Get 'er done!" embriodered on the front......like,......$7.99.

 

The 550 (Assembly number 33847 and up) emergency Maglite is $105.20 Bubba!

My 1999 550 has an emergency lamp and pouch similar to the 308 except it plugs into the cigarette lighter. It's NLA and who knows how much that is!

I leave all that stuff at home. Maybe I'll put it all in a safe deposit box.

I only carry the tow hook in the 550.

 

I guess you use it for augmenting instrument panel illumination.

 

I have done much the same, I was USING a screwdriver from the 308 tool roll and (aside from fitting the head slot poorly) was thinking:

"WHAT am I doing??"

Deferred the project until the morning, when Craftsman took over!!

 

Those pot metal tools deform if you use them. You'll lose points ar concours.

No idea where those came from, never owned one!
