    Yes, I am looking for the near impossible - an 88 or 89 328 GTB. After fully restoring the 88 mondial coupe, he now wants the so to speak. However he has set a fairly strict budget as he doesn't want a garage queen but something he will not feel guilty using as a daily driver in Houston, TX. I thought we had one lined up and ready to go but the $700 PPI showed hail damage, paint respray, mice chewing through electronics so that the headlights, reverse lights , interior cabinf fan and A/C (a must in Houston) didn't work. Additionionally, the mice had breached the interior and chewed holes in the back shelf along with water stains???

    SO if anybody knows of any GTB with the owner possibly will to part, please let me know and I'll take it from there. Be refreshed to know that this car will be out 5th ferrari so a little mini-collection is starting to brew and it's going to a well cared for home.

    Water stains on the rear shelf aren't unusual, just FYI. The seals around the small rear windows aren't great.

    Good luck in your hunt, you're searching for a rare bird.

    Mine is not a GTB but I have been toying with the idea of moving on to a 355. If you decide a Nero 87' GTS is something you might be interested in let me know.

    Try moving, starting a new practice, breaking your ankle, being accused of sexual harrassment and having a premie baby;) so no I haven't checked the FCA newsletter but will. Thanks for the suggestion. My search has so far been a cursory glance at Ferrari Ads and Autotrader. Not the best time but I would do anything for my step-dad(especially with father's day around the corner)!

    No problem, I dont know if he has driven a 328 before but I would imgaine with a "mini collection" as you describe it he probably has. My car is not a concours car by any means but I live and work in the Houston area and if he/you are interested in driving one I am sure we could work something out, hell its the least I could do for you and your step dad given the year you have had so far. Good luck on the new practice, I hope the ankle feels better and our prayers our with your baby. I cant believe I am offering a complete stranger a ride/drive in my 328 but something about your story tugs at my sense of giving.

    I just took the time to read your profile and realised that you have a 328 so I am sure he has driven it but the offer still stands here in Houston if for some reason he has not.
