    I need some help.
I am looking for a 365 GT4/BB in good shape. I love this car: in the past I had a 512 BBi, and had absolutely memorable times with this car, driving it in France and Italy. It was my second Ferrari, and at that point in time I was convinced that I had the most beautiful car in the world. And I think I was right.
But I believe that the 365 GT4/BB is the most beautiful of the three series, has probably the best performance, it is more raw than the next series, has the best sound of the three, the highest horsepower, albeit lower torque.
If anyone know of one, not only in the USA but elsewhere, please let me know. Thanks in advance

Just saw this thread Eduardo. I will keep an eye out for you, though I can honestly say Ive only seen one of these cars in my life... in Azzuro Cali @ the West Point Concours.

If you came across a showstopper 512, wld you not consider it?

    Greg,

Thanks for your suggestion. As you speak of the West Point Concours, which I think is sponsored by the Ferrari Club of America, I will call Bob Coates, and he might be able to direct me to the right spot.
I already had two Testarossas and one 512, I want to go back to the Berlinetta Boxer.
    Regards

Yes the 6 lamps and 6 exhaust pipes is a nice touch. However not all of the 365GT4/BBs still have it, some people have elected to replace the exhaust with the four pipes. The 6 pipes exhaust is difficult to find, and as a consequence expensive.
The next two models, 512 and 512i all came with 4 and 4.
The nice thing about the 365 GT4/BB is that the lines at least to me are the best, it is the purest of the three, and it has absolutely the best sound.
While I lived in France I owned a 1983 512 BBI, one of the last models made.
Silver, with black bottom, and it was at that time one of the most beautiful cars in the world, if not the most beautiful. I drove it extensively around Europe, mostly France and Italy, and I just could not take my eyes off the car.
As the 356GT4/BB are mostly over 25 years old, it is my understanding that we can import the car in the USA without problems of EPA/DOT and other restrictions.
As far as cars that are already in the USA I guess we need to have proof that they were compliant with the regulations at the time they came in.
European models are probably more desirable, since they did not have to be modified to EPA/DOT standards.

I have seen several around, most notably our "Enzo Who" run.

And yes, they are a gorgeous car.
