Looking for 488 spider either preowned or open allocation. Let me know if you know of any leads. Thanks! Already been offered a few coupe's, but I want a spider.
Yeah, I tried, but they all tell you there is a 2+ year waiting list on the car, even though that's not true. Dealers get open allocation and dealers also order cars under customers name for the sole purpose to resell them...
So far I've been offered anywhere between $50k-$125k over sticker, I'll be waiting for a little while.
Yes, I'm looking for less, who wouldn't? I may be getting a buildable slot(should find out next week). I just don't know if they demand will be as high for 488 spider as previous models.
Not sure if you were able to secure your allocation or not but I do know of an allocation for sale for 45k if you are interested.
What have you seen out there in terms of price? Looks like most people (dealers as well as private party) are asking $50K - $100K over MSRP.
My local dealer sold a coupe for $35k over. I've seen other coupes going for $75k+ over, but I don't think those will sell. In terms of spiders, I was offered one at $40k over and then the seller stopped responding. Most other spiders were around $75k over with a couple crazy people telling me $125k-150k over.
Principles of greed & fear probably made that seller realize that $40K over was "giving it away" so I'm sure now he's only considering offers of $75K over...
Plenty of 488 Spiders available in Dubai at sticker, but assuming you want to import to US, so that won't work as these are either Euro or GCC spec. US prices are crazy. Divide by 3.72 to get USD price https://uae.dubizzle.com/motors/used-cars/ferrari/488/?price__gte=&price__lte=&year__gte=&year__lte=&kilometers__gte=&kilometers__lte=&seller_type=&keywords=&is_basic_search_widget=0&is_search=1&added__gte=&auto_agent=
100% right, I'm "suppose" to get a 488 spider by dec and I get to spec it at msrp. So, I'll go that route.
Glad you found your 488 spider carz There are a few 488 spiders that I have seen "asking" in the mid 70s range but know of a changeable allocation that is a lot lower floating around.
