I am looking for what is out there for 750 Monza diecast or kits in 1/18 or 1/24th-1/25th scale. Not really a big 1/43rd collector.. though I read Fisher Pattern and Model is coming out with a resin kit?

I think if you want an accurate bigger Ferrari 750/500 kit you will have to wait for the Fisher kit. He is working on it now. I did see a very crude 1/18th scale kit made in Italy on some website but I do not know what company made it(maybe done by ABC). It was really bad as the body was way off. If Fisher does it you can bet Hiro will also do a full detail one soon after(no joke). They are prolific when it comes to F1 cars but do copy alot of ideas when it come to sportscars for some reason.

The 1/43rd BBR kit is pretty nice if you get one of the later ones. They updated their kits as they went along I have noticed.

Thanks very much for the info.. it was looking like that was the best option.

I often wonder why kit or diecast manufacturers seem to ignore obvious subject choices..
Think the 67-72 Ford pickup trucks have been ignored for instance even when new.

Obvious subject choices? they need to sell in volumes to make profit on expensive castings, research, and manufacturing. Can you find 500 people willing to pay $200-300 for a resin kit of 750 Monza? I highly doubt that. Same with other "obvious subject choices".

I was more referring to the larger manufacturers like Mattel, not the smaller resin casters. I have been building model cars and collecting for 40 years so I am a little familiar with how things work. I have been personally involved in development of 1/18th diecast cars including one of my own personal car.

You can market research all you want in some cases and still be wrong(Edsels come to mind..) and some subjects seem to be naturals and some like 55 or 57 Chevys we really don't need to see yet another one come out. Often the manufacturers miss the mark for instance, the 1970 Boss 302 and modified reissue kits of the 1970 Mach 1 by Revell. What is likely one of the coolest ponycar/musclecar options of all time, the 69-70 Mustang Shaker option was not added to either kit. With a little enthusiast input things could possibly be different.

Unfortunately most of attempts to be different proven to be commercial failures so big diecast manufacturers are playing safe. Speaking of 1/18, Auto Art lost huge money with their Panoz release so found out that it's better not to be different...

Those do not look very much like 750 Monza's other than basic shape. Sorry.
I would wait for the Fisher 1/24th model as it will be accurate.
