    I am looking for a Mechanic who knows how to work on 308s in or near Providence, RI. Does Anyone have any recommendations?

    Reason I ask is I am going to be looking at a car weekend after next and the guy doesnt want the car to leave the property but said I could bring a mechanic. I'm looking for a guy who knows these and may be willing to travel to see the car to perform a pre-buy inspection

    I believe John Tirrell will travel to look at a car.....it may be a lot more expensive than to have it brought to his shop though...........give him a call and ask........

    Suggest if you and the seller are serious then both of you arrange to trailer the car to IFS as posted above. Proper PPI cannot be done by just bringing a mechanic along IMHO.
