    Hello everyone,

I have silently been enjoying this forum for years; great information. I am looking for a 330GTS in any condition. Please PM me if you know of anything available currently or you are considering selling.

    Best,

If I may ask - why in any condition?

Personally, if I would buy a car that would be worth $600k+ I would make sure I would buy the best I can find. You can also restore one, but then I would make sure it would be one with a decent history. It's annoying if you restore it to a perfect car but the history file doesn't match the quality of the car.

The one at Amelia Island was restamped during its life. I wouldn't feel very comfortable with that, even though it is all known and disclosed.

But - they're rare (100 built) and very seldom come up for sale so you may can't be as critical as you (or rather I) would be with other models.

I know this one; great car but I believe it was sold recently. Copley is a good guy to buy LR's from.

I say in "ANY condition" because I will obviously inspect before buying; Since they are so rare I don't want to be too specific at this point. Does anyone know of anything else out there? I've looked at most of the dealers and public listings already. PM me. Thank You!

If you are will to widen your search to a 275 GTS there is a survivor one, 2 owners in St. Louis. St Louis Motorsports/Bentley of St. Louis.

I say it on Saturday and it looked good although mostly just did a walk around.

I saw this car online also; it actually does look really nice. Not sure about 275 though; I will look into it; Any 330GTS's out there please PM me. What the story on the inherent problems with the 275? Were they fixed along the way or still very much present today? I think I prefer the 275's dash at least.

I have both and I can tell you there is a world of diference between them. The 330gts is a much more advanced and polished car. More power, heavier both in the car and in the steering. More torque, better brakes. The 275gts is more pirmitive. They are both great cars in their own way but personally if I had to choose between the two I would take the 330gts. I think, though, that you can't compare the two in the same discussion because ion actually the price diference is not 100k but probably much higher. If you are interested in ownership experience feel free to PM me.

Very interesting. Since there was only 2 years of development between the two, I would not have expected such a big difference.

Same basic car, a little less power. That said, if you are tall try the 275. The windscreen is higher so you won't get bugs in your teeth.

More like 4 years and yes there is a huge diference. Torque tube, diferent upgraded brakes, rubber insulated suspensioon, more power, more luxury. Remember that all 275gts are built on the early 275 chasis as is the short nose gtb. The 330gts was build on a more advanced layout. All of the advances that could have gone into the 275gts went into the 330gts.

    First 275 = 1964, first 330GTC/GTS = 1966. Why do you say 4 year's difference?
