    I have been looking to get into one of these for a few months now. I have been looking mostly at the 348 as of now, since I have heard of issues getting a 355 into Canada. The main issue I have is the cars I have looked at have all some sort of problem with them. In need of major service, looked like a dog lived in the car, paint chips, dents and so various mechanical problems. I really would not care if I had to fix the thing myself, it is not a major concern in regards to having the resources to do so. Yet I cannot find one that is even remotely acceptable to me. Where is the best place to look?

    The main reason I have really stopped my search for a 355, is it would probably end up being a US car. This in itself is not really a big as I work in the States and have more then one residence located in the country, so I would probably leave the car in the Us and drive it their. It is just the damn 355 is foolishly priced in regards to a US car. I cannot bring myself to buy it!!!

    348's fall into the over priced area as well in Canada so I will continue a US search for now. ( I have found a nice on for somewhere north of the high 60's!!!!!!


    This search has gotten to the point that I would buy a new one if the darn dealer was as cheap as the dealer in the US.

    Sorry I am having to vent. I looked at another loser this week.

    i have a 1990 348 ts. all service up to date. just had the front end rebuilt. steering rack . etc. everything works and a great looker. runs perfect.

    Hey Andy,
    What city in Canada are you in? I'm originally from Calgary and come back frequently. Actually thinking of getting my 355 hauled up to Idaho and drive up sometime this summer. Have you hooked up with other Fcar guys up there to get their advcice and opionions...AND to find a good/honest mechanic?

    I am thinking about selling mine. It's a 1995 348 spider, i bought it in dec 2006 with 28k miles and now it has almost 31k. red tan . Major service done in july 07 at 29k miles. water pump as well. I have too many cars and don't even drive this one much. Top and interior is perfect. Paint is is very good as well. There are no problems with the car and everything works.

    I would have my 348 listed for sale, but I don't own one.

    Sport Auto in Summerfield, NC, has a couple in stock, I believe. They tend to sell nice cars. www.sportauto.cc
