The 'Beverly Hills Classic Cars' sold a gray 6spd Superamerica a while ago. I think they said one of only 6 manual shift cars imported. Andy Cohen may know of another one or perhaps that owner wants to trade for a 599 now. Andy Cohen is a sponsor on Fchat. You can find him at the top of page 1 there. Click on the 'SPONSOR' link. Good luck. CH
Harris Imports sold one that was originally ordered by Richard Losee, who orders everything in a 6speed. It was sold around here....perhaps Sean knows who and the guy may be willing to sell. I drove the car..it was awesome. I wish the timing would have been better and i could have bought it.
There is a 6 speed in this post, no idea if it is for sale but a search did not reveal a thread that gathers these together http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/northwest/407658-cannon-beach-2013-a.html
i dont think i've ever seen a red 6 speed Superamerica. Such a car would surely fetch and insane price. One of my dream Ferraris.
I've seen a red 6 spd car and the black one at Sean Harris' place. The red car could be anywhere as I saw it a ways back, but the black car ended up in FL and was for sale this past Fall. I remember because I ran into it online and commented to myself how it was a long way from Steve Harris Imports.
There was a Grigio titanio with red interior and low miles for sale in Fort Lauderdale ..went for around 280k. Last summer, miller motors had a tdf/ red interior with 7k miles for 207k, and then a red/ beige interior with 1100 miles for 250k. Those are the ones I knew of.
Well I guess the consensus is that they are def out there, although it's one of those things one needs to have patience and drive to locate
I sold mine several months back. Wish I still had it. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/456-550-575/386335-might-have-sell-gated-superamerica.html#post141941520 I know a gated SA Red/Tan with low miles at a good Fcar dealer recently sold for 250
And my friend is very happy to have your car as part of his collection. He has a Barchetta, 458 and now your gated SA in his garage....along with an 8C, SLR, FGT, Alpina.....and a few others. I was going to keep your SA and sell my black/tan but the day after I sent you the deposit my friend called with interest in acquiring your car. So I let him buy it. I did drive the car and can say it is a fabulous version of the SA. Very smooth shifting and a tight car. Fun-fun-fun! thanks for being cooperative on the sale handoff. Your SA is in good hands in a nice long term collection.
FCA event in Cannon Beach. It was gorgeous. Probably the one mentioned near the beginning of this thread five years ago. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
They are all six speeds and all use the same transmission and clutch, but there were only 33 LHD Superamericas built with three pedals, 39 total, or about 7% of production.
I realize this post is from 2007, but are you sure it was a 575 SA and not Richard's Barchetta? His ordered the Barchetta new then sold it when he got his gated 599. He didn't like how the gated 599 drove so he sold that and bought the Barchetta back. He still owns it as well.
It definitely was a 6-spd stick SA at Harris. I was searching for a black SA back in late 07. The two I found were the Harris car and a black/tan F1 at Miller Motorcars. Already owning 3 manual cars I opted for the F1 version. If I recall the Harris car had large sport seats which I did not prefer. My SA has the Daytona seats.
