Took a bunch yesterday. Have to admit, I'm still on the fence - it's a great car. If I could find a local Mondial owner that would give me a ride, it would help - don't know what I'm getting myself into.

I'll work to download/resize the photos tonight.

Fine looking ride! I'm dying to get back into a 928 one of these days...

I bought that one. Nice car, 70K miles. And I like the 87-88 gearing. I converted my
    90 S4 from 2.54:1 to 2:20 from an 88 a few years ago.

Not completely correct. That car was an auto and it was purple and that same light pearl green on the interior. I'd post a pic but I am out of memory on this site...you can find some pics of it at 928registry.com (or .org...I can't remember). Supposedly it left the country upon purchase. Some speculated France, but it does not appear to be there. Others speculated one of the French islands off the east coast of the US...

Since it seems unlikely that car will surface again I would love to build a tribute to it starting with mechanically solid '95 and then doing a complete change over to match that car...

Sorry, I should have kept reading and I would have seen that another 928 Jedi would have already correct you. I am always surprised at how many of my Rennlist hommies are over here too! I guess we just like all kinds of sports cars. Some day I will have a 456 and a 360 Spider and a LONG time from now maybe a California!

Good luck to the OP in the quest for a nice GTS...they are out there! I have two of them in my garage... not for sale though... I have the only '92 in the US and a '94, they are Polar Silver and Grand Prix White respectively.
