There was a black Enzo for sale with 800 miles in the US. I forget where it was and can't find it again. Anyone know where it is?

some silly numbers being thrown at blk E.

IMHO get the best car out there. Not more than 975k to 1.1 mill. and get it resprayed any color u want.
The enzo comes apart like a R/C toy(looks the same too)
hardly any point paying any premium for balck.
More than like likely, you will end up with a paint job far suprior than the factory

Well if it's resprayed then it will lose value, whereas if he get's a factory black one it will retain the value. It doesn't matter that the respray will be superior to the factory paint, the respray would be a big issue when he goes to sell it.

have you seen many enzos that have been resprayed and lost value as a result of it? i dont believe you have.
the respary can be done under the blessing /supervision of ferrari.
they will then update the records to say you have had a color change and they will also classiche certify it.

most ferraris (classics/collectible) are all a diff color since when they started out ...why should an enzo be any diff??
just my 2 cents (and experience!!!!)

No VINs do not indicate the color of the vehicle.

As Walter has already stated, the VIN does not show color. Additionally, the VIN doesn't show transmission type. European, UK and Australian VINs don't show model year; US, Middle Eastern and Latin American VINs will show model year.

    This is also a falsehood. As I go down my list of Enzos, in chronological serial number order, the colors present as follows: red/black, red/red, red/black, black/black, red/black, black/black, yellow/black, red/red, red/red, red/red, yellow/black, red/natural, black/black, black, red/red, TdF/tan, red/black, red/black, red/red-black, red/black, red/black-red, red/black, red/black, black/red, black/black, black/black, red/red, red/black, red/black, red/black, red/red. And so forth...

I don't know if that one was for sale (although everything is for a price). They told me they all belonged to the same guy, and he was just storing them there.

That's what they told me too. The Enzo, F40, and F50 all belong to a European client who is often in the USA, and he turned down $2MM for the Enzo. Here's a pic from 15 Nov 2008. The second pic is when I went back a week ago. The Enzo wasn't on display but the Scud was front and center. It's for sale, in the neighborhood of $370k I believe. Also I asked what you have to do to get a 16M, and they said it would be about the same application process as buying an Enzo was. Maybe, MAYBE, three of their customers would qualify, they estimated, and even then it was iffy.

With the exchange rate nearing £1=1EUR I think it's a good deal when all things are considered.

That's an F50 - and it's totally unacceptable that you didn't exhaust your camera's memory card with pictures of the black Enzo. I think you should be perma-banned.

Hey, you can't ban me--I QUIT!!! bwahahahaha

Okay, next time I'm at FCI, I'll ask for adult supervision so I can shoot all around the Enzo. Or here's a thought, maybe other FChatters can go there too. It's not hard to find, what with the great big Ferrari sign out front, visible from the interstate. Just wear a clean shirt and show some respect, and FCI will greet you like a long lost friend. They let ME in so they'll let ANYbody in!

You and me both - black and any other color. Where the hell are all of the willing-to-sell Enzo owners - especially the ones with black Enzos...?
