    Hi Guys,

My wife and I just got back from Annapolis looking at some Hinckley boats. We have decided to get a late mode 36' Picnic model (not the EP version). We sea trialed one Friday and loved the look, feel and ride.

Any Hinckley owners here? If so any comments good or bad or reviews would be helpful.

    Best,
    Brad

Not a Hinckley Owner but I am familiar with the Annapolis Area. We (my brother and I) have a 36 foot Sea Ray that we park at my parents bay house on the magothy river.

i know the 36' picnic quite well...fantastic looking shearline!!!!!

i would askl you to consider your budget and if you have room, you may look at san juan's 38' or look at avalon's 32' (actually larger than the picnic) or the marlow 37.7...all really fantastic options.

i do like this class of boat and think you will find them very good to really use w/o some special occasion. these really are great day boats an d of course great weekenders.

btw, san juan and avalon may be the very best in class and are a bit tougher to find in the secondary market.

    have fun!!!

There was one at the Seattle boat show, the representive was a stuck up ass hole, and is the varnish quality was piss poor. You just ran your hand over it and you could multiple flaws in it...this is a product from a boat company that makes its own varnish because they said no one came up to their standards. Either way a boat in this price range in the state it was in was unacceptable.
