Apparently it is less than the reserve(whatever that may be). Bidding stopped as it was nudging $500k so perhaps that's an indication of reserve?
If I’m reading the Massini Report correctly the high bid was more than $100,000 less than the car sold for 10 years ago.
Yes I attended the auction. As I recall the high bidder also bought a 206. Plenty of amateur theatrics by the bidder, a bit over the top.
I was looking at a chairs and flares that has been in boxes for years. Everything needs done. Owner wouldn't budge from $550. PASS
The car aint worth much...the title and chassis worth all the beans! the math is.. 550g plus a 200g resto..is still under market value!
I'm only pointing out the ridiculous thought that a car that is in boxes with nothing restored is worth $550,000 and that a quality restoration can be done for $100,000.

How/why did this thread, originally started by Dbanks on February 22, 2010, come back to life? Is it because the last post (as of 03/21/2024) on BAT for the yellow unsold Dino (05830) was made by R5turbo2, whom I assume is the same person who posted in this thread (as r5 turbo 2) WAY BACK on 10/18/2010, post #74?
