My 308 came without a tool kit (but with the jack kit) and it has been mildly bothering me. I'd love to make her complete and add the proper tool kit to its boot.

I know some of you guys collect kits and I wanted to see if you would have a 85 QV one you'd be willing to part with

Let me know via private message - thanks ! -Greg

Follow the trail to UK Classic Parts.....for many years they offered a "correct for all models" replacement, that was a good start.

Your exact QV set I would guess woulld be $3000 to $500USD cureent market.

My early carbed car set is not correct for an injected car.
Make note of your fan belt sizes and build a spare set of those they live in the Jack Big.

    Go get 'em!!

Do you have an exact picture of the contents of the correct set, i have various sets from an early 308 carb model to a 328 - i want to check i have the correct item to offer.

    Thanks!

I’ll try to find UK Classic Parts….

for pricing, so far I’ve been offered a couple of correct (not necessarily original, as that is hard to check) sets for prices closer to 2-2.5k so it seems that would be the current going prices. If I find one that I’m really happy with for $2k, from a seller that feels trustworthy and willing to ship to the US, that will be a go for me.

The only "tell" is that the earlier screwdrivers were plain amber.

To the OP, I would say that may be "close enough"????
We argue constantly about the screwdrivers and pliers....LOL!

The main thing is the spark plug wrench fitting the later version "smaller" plugs, you obviously want that "correct"!!

The two spare sparking plugs (Track and Street heat range) actually reside in the end of the Jack Bag.

Look at the add for the "512BBi tool Kit"....while pricey the oil filter wrench could be discarded and replaced with the proper Spark Plug Tool.

That's a damn clean set of 1984 Tools right there, no logo on the "perfect condition" screwdrivers!!!
