Hello, The television show Access Hollywood is looking for a red 308 that was actually on the Magnum PI tv series. The car would be displayed in our studio as we film a segment that spotlights the series. The car would be needed in Los Angeles on 4/28/2005. If anyone knows where I might find one of the cars, please contact me at [email protected]. thanks, -Richard
This has a link to one of the cars. Good luck. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52347&highlight=magnum+pi
When will that segment air? Why are they looking back on Magnum PI? Is there a movie finally in the works?
The segment will air next weekend 4/30 or 5/1 depending on what city you live in. It is part of a show on popular tv shows of the past. The show is syndicated so you will need to check your local listings. thanks for the info and interest, -Richard
I think your viewers would be JUST as happy with "...a Ferrari 308 just like this one..." rather than have to get one that was actually used on the show.
That's where yours comes in, Mike. By the way, the second season is now out on DVD. Just picked mine up tonight at Wal-Mart.
Ha -- yes, mine is available for shipping to California for the show! Thanks for the tip -- I'll have to head there later today and pick mine up. My wife couldn't believe I spent so much of one of our vacations indoors when I got the first season set!
Call neuman transport in tampa. Bill Neuman has one and it has the custom made clear t-top to compensate for tom selic's height; as i have been told.
Makes me feel like im in one of those sports shops with all the "signed photos" and signed baseballs and footballs for thousands of dollars.... while im not saying its all BS... it sure is highly sceptical.
Someone somewhere must have a list of the VIN #'s of the cars that were used on the show. There was a GTS for sale on eBay a while back IIRC that claimed to have a letter on studio letterhead certifying that the car was used on the show. Birdman
Which is a start, but it can't cost more than $50 or $100 to have letterhead printed that says anything you want it to.
