So happy to have found the forum. Had a 550 for a while, but sold it after losing too many points. Was a while back.

Now looking for something with class and have my heart set on a 206 or 246, but apart from the Concour versions, which may be a bit pricey, can't seem to find any healthy one for solid $$$.

    Cheers!

Wow! That is a seriously good looking 206GT... Coys seems to have landed a good one for their next auction. Does anyone know this one in better detail?

Thanks for sharing the link Ed!

    Ciao,

    Bill

Bill, it`s a matching no. car original delivered to Germany.
Needs lots of detailing, but not too bad.
Original Rosso Dino, seats with orange cloth.
I see the price higher than the estimate, 206 GT`s are so rare.....

    Gentlemen

Thanks so much for the welcome and message!

I have ordered the book (of course).

The 206 @ Coys looks amazing, but not sure how much of a PITA it would be to get it from the UK (where I was living until 9 month ago unfortunately) to the US would be... Nonetheless, thanks for the link, and am going to send a friend to look at her.

The Canadian 206 also looks like it could maybe work - does anyone who's seem this particular car estimate how much on re-paint / interior to get it in top shape? Has anyone actually driven this particular car?

Thanks again for the warm welcome! Actually starting to miss the old 550 - as now driving a Ford "truck"

I don't believe Dinos will go down in price, only up. Maybe even way up. I think good GT's will be harder to find vs GTS's regardless of price. I also believe we've gone beyond the pragmatic reasoning for a Dino and have moved on to a more emotional discussion. Similar to when we discuss a P4, 250LM, SWB. I believe Dinos transcend their basic parts. I would suggest being more specific about what you're looking for. If you are a pragmatic person and measure things by their parts, you would most likely be unhappy with a Dino and happier with a more modern Ferrari.

P.S. BTW, what's wrong with a Ford truck?

It's the same car, SN 00280, just resold several times and now with Coys.

Here's an example on Ebay Ferrari : Other GT in Ferrari | eBay Motors

I'm always a bit suspicious when the bidder's identity are hidden as you can't tell if the bids are real or not. In any case, here's a U.S. spec '72 GT Coupe for sale. Maybe someone here knows the car?
