    Berlinettas are hard to find, especially a good condition one. Good things come to those who wait. I know its hard, but be patient and wait for your car. Makes the experience sweeter when its in your garage.

    BT,
    I went to the dealer who supposedly had it in his showroom (its on consignement), but the car was not there. The manager said that the owner is not sure if he wants to sell it. I asked what the hec does that mean, he said he does not even know. He then said that maybe the owner wants more money, but again, he's not sure so I left. I emailed him yesterday for any "news" relating to the this mysterious "sale" of a vehicle, to know if anyone decided anything, and he never emailed back.

    I thought the issue was always to find a serious buyer, but in this case, the seller is the issue... go figure!!

    I would change my mind too if I were the owner of that car.
    That's too cheap.

    I just called the manager again, and the issue is still in limbo!. He would not give me the owner's contact info (I guess he does not want to lose the commission). But the story remains the same, no one knows what the hec the owner wants to do. All he told me was that the owner is about 27 years old, and is confused. Here I am ready to give him a certified check for the whole amount, and this is what I have been getting! Just ridiculous!

    By the way, your TB is gorgeous!!! That's exactly what I am looking for.

    I am really enjoying it. If something comes up that I can't pass up, I will drop you a line if I decide to sell this car.

    BTW, it is the cleanest I have ever seen. Everything else I looked at had horrible interiors, low mileage, but they looked bad in general.
    Took about 6-8 months to find this.

    So be patient, YOUR car will show up eventually

    I'm not sure about that car. Serie Speciale were made in '93 (100 and 15 in '94). It's listed as a '92 with a build date in march. Someone also said there was some over spray (maybe repainted).

    Take it for what it's worth, but proceed with caution.

    I question the previous post that is all tan with non carbon type seats.
    All Series Speciale's came with Carbon Seats and other goodies.

    My 348 Speciale is #20 and it is a 1992.

    I think I have before mentioned that in fact there were 20-something Speciales that were built as 1992 models.

    Does yours have the carbon type seats? The 348 SS TB pics I looked at did not have them. Were they changed or some of them do not have the carbon type seats?

    I stand corrected on build dates. I thought SS were '93 model year. I have seen other SS without the carbon seats though.

    I have a beautiful 1990 black TB for sale priced right where you want to be. 30k service done and price just lowered to $47,900. I normally do not list cars on Ebay, but it seems that I am not being found on AutoTrader.com. Just recently installed fender shields thanks to BT (Bill). Car is driven on a weekly basis and to most F-Chat events.

    The car is gorgeous, but I am looking for Red/Tan. Had it been red, it would have been sold! ( I saw the ad a few days ago and said to myself "why isn't it red?... that's my luck!).

    Thanks for the compliment. I do realize that most Ferrari guys want the "red" in their cars, although, I do personally like black. Good luck in your search.
