Billy, it's unlikely they'll be exported so soon from Singapore as those on offer are '04 cars & due to the tax system here the owner will lose silly money.

Cars are about S$550-600K here with a refund of about S$260K+/- which means you'll have to pay at least S$300,000 or US$200,000 for the body.

Yep it's probably unlikely to happen like Jon says, but hey I was just tossing a possibility out there

Most of the CS's in HK have dome many China drives and have 12,000kms at least as a result. You will regret buying a CS. Price still high and a lot will be dumped when the 430LP comes out. Unless the car is already registered in HK (there are only 3 I think), it is too late to register (can't pass Euro Spec) and you will have an orphan. T Plates will not last much longer

Actually i know someone in HK who imported his RHD CS from Singapore not too long ago so it is still a possibility. Not sure what he paid for it though.

T plates are supposed to be for moving a car by a dealer or mechanic from one place of business to another or for test drives. T plates are already much harder to get than before and it is only a matter of time (probably not much time) until the Transport Department is even firmer. This will make cars like the 360CS rather useless as they cannot be registered in HK any longer. Several smart 360CS owners paid FRT at the end of 06 with just this in mind. The remaining unregistered 360CS's and 996 GT3RS's will be expensive track day cars that cannot be used on the streets at all when the T plate rules are firmer

    Thankyou all for your info.
What will happen to the T-plate? More regulations in apply or the role of use? I think DM is right about picking up a clean CS may not easy anymore in HK. I am really frustrated now between a CGT or a CS. Would love to hear more of your suggestions.

I think this looks like the car belongs to CA, now in Hong Kong. Also open for sale. Leather seat and interior.

Billy have you ever driven the CS or CGT on the track? CGT is fast but there is something really special about the CS. Personally id go with the CS especially for value. There are a few CS's in Indonesia, you might want to consider importing from there as well. I can get you the contacts if you like.
