A pal of mine wants to put a set of shields on his newly aquired Ferrari. I gave him a link to the outfit that sold them in the F-chat for sale area but he says that the company seems to have closed up.

So, I ask you fine F-chat folk, does any one have a set of Fender Replica Shields by YoMagic (also referred to as Yoshi Shields) that you did not use?

He is a real buyer for the thinner units.

If you are going to put the shields on, do it the right way. It costs a little more but the after effect is allot more rewarding.

The above link will get you to his site but the on line ordering feature is disabled due to reconstruction. You have to hit the "contact" button and email him direct to order. I did this last friday, he responded quickly and I received them yesterday. In his response to me he mentioned he was going to be out of the country for about two weeks so it might take a while to get in touch with him now. BTW the Look and the quality is great.

I've always wondered about those shields. Does the glue ever weaken and the shields fall off ?

I am Yoshi (YoMagic) and apologize for a temporary shut-down of our website, which is currently under re-construction. Our web hosting company informed their clients (including us) of their termination of hosting services, and we are switching to another web hosting service provider. Until our new website will soon to be re-opened under a new name "YoShield." Until it is re-opened, our shields will be available to those who will send in orders via email to [email protected] and can make the payments via PayPal. I am currently out of country and will not return till 6/26 (Tue). If anyone is inetersted in acquiring our shields, please send me an email. I apologize for any confusions and inconveniences our website problem may have caused you. Yoshi

When do you think your website will be open?
Is PayPal the only way to pay for the shields?

I hope our new website will be up and running by end of July. As for now, the only payment method we can accept is PayPal. Under the circumstances, I will try to accept the personal check as well if it is mailed and clears the bank.

Our shields have the very expesive 3M VHB (Very High Bonding) double-sided tape on its back, which is very strong and is clear color so that it matches perfectly with any body colors.

In the future, if you have to remove the shields for some reasons, will you be able to remove it without hurting the paint or the color?

I am very pleased to announce that our new website under the new name YoShield (formerly known as YoMagic) is now up and running. Please go to http://www.yoshield.com. Unfortunately, I will be out of country starting tomorrow (7/14) through 7/21. If you do not mind waiting for a week, please go ahead and place your order. Yoshi

I would think you could remove the shields later if youwanted to using somethinglike goof off 2 (it is water based). I bought some shields awhile ago from Paulie_b and they were nice, but I decided against putting them on the car. I did however but some with a slight defect on my RV! A kid (maybe 9-10 years old) in Kentucky asked me if the RV was a real Ferrari. I first told him jokingly that it was the largest of all the Ferrari, then admitted it was actually a 10 year old RV and that I was just a fan of the brand. He still liked it!
