    I live in Fort Lauderdale and I am tired of going to the same old car shows. There is one nice cruise night on Friday's at the Tower Shops in Davie but it is more appropriate for vintage American cars than Ferrari and Exotics.

    I am interested in organizing a show / gathering. It would be some like meeting in Fort Lauderdale at a designated place and having a rally to Worth Avenue in Palm Beach with a nice lunch or dinner to finish the day. I do not know many people with exotic cars in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach.

    Would anybody be interested in this?

    I would if I am in town. Sunday a week (the 27th) there is a show at the Hard Rock Casino that goes from 12-6. $15 if you sign up quick. See the thread below. Also, there is a group meeting at Rick Case Lux this weekend and going to the beach (hooter's), then who knows what? But if you want to plan something I would be down with that (how's that JP?).

    If anyone wants to help me with this, anyone who knows some people who would also go with their cars. I want to try to set a date and a place and get some other people to go. My email is [email protected] if anyone wants to give me some ideas and work with me on it.

    It would certainly be nice to have something weekly here like Cars & Coffee or SuperCar Sunday in Southern California. There are certainly enough exotics here, but it seems as if the interest just isn't the same as it is out there. I remember it being tried a year or two ago, but it didn't seem to last long.

    Royce, check out scuderiasouthflorida.com that's our local group. Dinners once a month and karting a couple of times per month. Just pick a cruise and post it. You'll have people show up! If I'm in town, I'm IN!

    There are tons of things going on every month. Nothing of the regular car show. If you would get to know the community a little better you would realize that.

    Just follow the Florida section here on FChat, lots going on. Car show May 27, monthly dinners, there is always some sort of gathering. Last weekend, we did have Ferraris at the Tower Shopd. No need to duplicate efforts. Go to www.scuderiasouthflorida.com
