Looking to replace the stock system with an aftermarket system. Car is street driven. I had a Tubi on my TR and was dissapointed with the lack of volume- now TR is Twin Turbo with straight pipes and is borderline of being too loud.
Looking for suggestions/feedback regarding your experience with different systems on the F-40. Has anyone heard the X-Oust system? They produce a system that looks similar to the stock muffler in configuration but smaller and much cleaner looking. Very curious as to the type of sound (like a 360?) and volume.
    Thanks,
    John

Tubi test pipes and muffler. Search around (check with Manu) and check Tubi's site. There are lots of videos / sound clips running around.

I have both Tubi systems for my F40, I really think you want the Tubi Sport Mufflers, they sound great.

Having said that, I have had that muffler on my car twice and taken it off both times. I run my Tubi Comp set-up 99% of the time, no cats, no muffs....

It is VERY loud, but the car breaths great and an F40 is not about being discreet.

I know you talked to Chris Hill about a Tubi set-up and yes it is high. You may want to have a your local muffler shop build you a straight pipe set up, should be easy to do. Roland Linder has a home made system on his F40 and it works just fine.

If you still have cats on your car, you should buy Tubi test pipes.

Come up to KC and listen to mine, if you can wait, you will hear them in Arkansas in September!

    Good luck...

    Chris
