I agree , very hard to find . I might need to widen my search to a match numbers Bristol engined car is nothing comes up.

    Hi Rudolph,

thank you for pointing out the Oakfields car . It looks fantastic but the car was only finished in 2010! The guys who built it cobbled together the parts over the years so nothing is original on the car . I am sure that it is a very competitve car and a joy to drive but it is not the real deal .

Hi Joe, if I were you I prefer an Ace with the Bristol engine, that engine is fantastic !

    Cheers Rudy.

Yes , I have heard that the ruddspeed is more powerful but the you lose feel as the engine is quite heavy . The bristol engine is a free revving unit which is much lighter .
I have been offered a matching number ruddspeed car but the buyer wants to set a record with the asking price!

Have you driven the Bristol engined car ?

Yes, a friend has one....... grey with dark red leather and dark red wire wheels.
The Bristol engine is tremendous for such an old design, but I have 6 classic cars in my garage, so no AC for me.

    Cheers Rudy

I see from your profile that you have a fanatasic and varied collection in your garage . Congratulations . Maserati's are the unloved historical classic car marque . They are such amazing cars to drive , in there day they were ahead of Ferrari in the GT market . I have a 1970 Ghibli which is undergoing a bare metal respray at the moment . Not long to go until it's finished !
