Many years ago my father purchased new an 86 TR 65309. She was red/cream with the single mirror and big single nut wheel. My father drove and enjoyed her for a few years( I enjoyed riding in her but was never old enough to drive her). But, because of circumstances beyond his control he was forced to letter her go... (though he got a nice 308 in the deal which on occasion I have driven). She is sometimes a topic of discussion between us and we get to wondering whatever happened to her. So, was I was wondering have any of you seen 65309? We were just curious how an old friend was.

    Thanx,
    Don

Ps she carried the plate TAROSSA

Red/tan that narrows it down a bit. :) :) Seriously good luck finding the info you want.

Well,... growing up I think the majority of them (from what I remember seeing) were the same shade of red. I know that it isn't true. Later TRs seemed to be produced in more colors other then red. Also figured that there are enough fewer pre-87s that it could have been seen and noted easier.
But, you know how it is when you get curious about an old friend some times you don't give (or have) the right info to find who you are looking for.

Thanx for the luck I can use all I call get (come on lucky lotto numbers:) )

PM "NNO" (aka Carbon McCoy - yes, that's his real name) here on FerrariChat. He works for The Ferrari Market Letter, and may have info on your car if it was ever listed for sale in the FML.

Hey for those who might care, I found out the other day that 65309 has found a new home with her 3rd owner and is good hands. I hope he starts his own thread soon.

Did you look on the registration thread here on this section for single mirror cars?

It's already listed in that thread.

All I am going to say about the location is that it is still in California, It will be up to the new owner to disclose further details.
