Used cars in Florida and multi-owner is a no go for me. Low price is another red flag. Stay away. Just IMO

The painted vents are possibly a reason and the other little things that the photos don't show are probably the reason for the price. Expect to put some money into it to get it right.. it WILL need some things. GET A PPI BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!

I bought my euro 99' from a Miami car used car dealer and she is a GREAT car. I did have to put some work into her to get things right, but she starts every saturday.. drives great for the weekend and goes to bed on sunday. Expect imperfection and you'll be OK.

Don't know anything about the car or the dealer, but the Florida car market is loaded with questionable cars. I've never seen so many low price, big question mark cars in my life.

No inspections here, either, soooo . . . buyer beware.

I would like to add that those same circumstances sometimes produce great deals.

How can we remove those tacky AC trim paint?

The previous owner of my car painted them too. Not a big fan. Thanks!

The car is at auction - they have taken it off their site - I couldn't get any email response to belt change / clutch readout question.......likely as they are wholesale mode.....

Carfax is clean - 7 owners - yikes....no real service history per Carfax....

I realize this is the bottom of the barrel entry level 360 - and assuming it needs a belt change and a clutch right off the bat - what 10k - I think based on what the car has brought previously as it has been bouncing around auction to auction (yes I have access to manheim) it might can be bought with a first number starting with a 4......just makes you wonder how cheap does a clean titled car have to get?????

I was hoping maybe a member had seen this car at some point in person as it is unique with the yellow accents etc (which I agree need to be fixed)

Thanks for the opinions / input.........

The fact that the car is priced extremely well doesn't mean that is going to be a real good deal in my opinion. Not only clutch and belts (10K? i think probably more) but so many more items will be needed it if they were not done. And chances are they were not !
    To mention some on a 33K miles 360 ....
    Brake rotors and pads
Transmission and motor mounts (if they are bad you could also have broken muffler brackets)
Suspensions ball joints / bushings /wheel bearings
    O sensors
    MAFS
    Sparks and coils
Fluid leaks ? Cam seals etc.

Check for Dashboard shrinkage, Door locks, AC Etc ...
Dumping 20/25k on this car would be so easy which comes back to the fact that there is no way of a cheap Ferrari out there. You spend either way a good amount of money.
Unless you can do most of the job by yourself .... run !!!
But this is just my opinion.

Yes I agree. If the car is priced $30K below one with all the bells, get the work done yourself and you will end up with a great car. You will also give the car a maintenance history at the same time.

Those vents are cheap to replace. Check with our favourite fcar wrecker.
Brakes are cheap if you do it yourself. A no brainer etc. etc.
Take your time and do one thing at a time.

First post and I'm new member. I just purchased my dream car Ferrari 360. Major service was done. Motor mounts. Transmission mounts (used the 430 style) and had the ac rebuilt. The car did have a check engine light on before I bought it. Dealer said they would take care of it before I bought it.

So next day it's ready. I get there fire it up and take it for drive. No cel air is blowing cold. Factory radio is asking for code. I'm assuming because battery was dead. Anyway all seemed well

Driving home about 2 hours later the cel pops up what a shock. Apparently the dealer just cleared the cel light and hoped it wouldn't pop up again during my test drive. So this agitates me and I join here to found a MOUNTAIN of outstanding information. Sooo back to the story. I call the sales person and now they don't seem to take my call. Go figure. So I load up my garage queen and off to Ferrari of central Florida. I know most have a negative opinion of dealerships but these guys were actually pretty cool. Told them the people and they determined my cel light was indeed a problem and the computer was reporting a problem like it should have. It was my MAF sensors. They replaced them and now the 360 is alive again! Super happy and was only hit for 2 hours Labor and the the MAF sensors.

Now the next thing is I'm seriously considering going back to the dealership that sold the car to me and pop the bill on the desk and demand they pay it. They pulled a sneaky maneuver by clearing the code and not fixing it and hoping it didn't pop back up while I was driving around the short test drive. I supposed I should have hammered on the Ferrari with the salesman in the car and I would have known that something wasn't right as the performance was grossly deminished with the jammed up MAF sensors. But doing a respectful cruise with a salesman in the car the typical person wouldn't have disrespected the fact they don't own the car yet. Lesson learned I guess. Drive it like you stole it next test drive or deal with what I am now.

To be honest. I'm ok with the cost and repairs as it wasn't a omg problem. It was a pretty simple fix that even i could have done but there is the rub having the equipment like sd2 to tell you what is wrong so you don't throw parts at it hoping something fixes is.

Anyway glad to be here and looking forward to learning more about my dream car and what makes her tick.

Jesus that things been whored out, it's been through auction like 5 or 6 times. The dealers are just dumping it off to each other. Here's a little notextra, when a big car store has the car and it says "vehicle serviced" that doesn't necessarily mean it was serviced. When the punch in the vin number in there system it auto reports to carfax and defaults as "vehicle serviced" even if the car was just moved from one side of the lot to the other and rescanned. Car fax only shows 1 oil change.

I purchased a car in FL and have had very few issues but I purchased it from a Ferrari dealer and paid a little extra for doing so. They had it on consignment and had gone through the car and did a lot of maintenance which the buyer paid for although I'm certain some of the cost was factored into the price. I'd do this again if I were purchasing another Ferrari. Mine had 2 owners.

Thanks guys for the opinions / info - wanted to share a little update. The car is due for belt service and clutch - paintwork on both front fenders - and some more needed on the rocker panel. Sticky / painted interior / aftermarket radio. They have switched the 3 piece modular painted black wheels out with the standard wheels and raised the price to 58k. Asked twice to arrange a PPI at my cost and didn't seem willing.

So between all of the above - 7 owners - bouncing around from auction to auction - and no real service history I tend to agree with most that this car may take 10-13k or more to get back up to speed. All said and done in the 70k -73k range I think I can find a better example..........
