Guys, The time has come to look at all of the chrome bits for our ongoing Dino restoration. Although we have the correct bumpers, the end caps on the rear bumper are wrong. I am looking for a set of the concave bumper end caps which house the rounded license plate lights along with the license plate lights themselves. Since the bumper caps are being rechromed just about any condition of end cap will do. If anyone can help with these items please PM me. Thanks in advance for any assistance offered. Kind Regards, Paul
My solid end caps were simply modified to allow the license plate lights to be installed since the car (71 Euro) came to me with none. Not sure where the lights themselves were purchased (shop doing the work acquired them), but I seem to recall seeing them online.
I have the opposite problem. I had to replace my rear bumpers which had the flat caps. The replacements came with the concave caps and the caps from my original bumpers won't fit. Any suggestions?
I think I saw some of the end caps you want at T Rutlands while rummaging through their parts. Worth a check.
Thanks guys. Looks like I may have found an NOS set. If anyone has a used set, though, please PM me. I'm going to rechrome them regardless so that they match the bumpers perfectly and would like to avoid the 'NOS Surcharge' if at all possible. Kind Regards, Paul
