Gents, I need to source driver side carpet to use as a template for a new set to be built. My car came with the driver's side missing.

Let me know what you have around the garage that you can part with. The color doesn't matter. I'm willing to purchase both sides if you don't want to split the set.

Check with Ferrparts in Sacramento. They used to have a lot of odds and ends carpets and floor mats.

There are aftermarkets sets that copied the originals. The shape is not an issue. The fabric etc is.
These guys have some - compliments @rumen1 for sending them pics so they can scan them. As I recall, their "salt & pepper" is closest to the Testarossa black and "biscuit" close to Castoro.

I have original new old stock ones listed in classifieds. Here's a Castoro set. Red, black and blue in other listings or PM me.

Unfortunately Lakewell only offers a full interior carpet kit.

The tan set you have listed in the classifieds are floor mats, not the carpet pieces below the matts I'm looking for. I might be interested in those. I do see that its for a TR512 and I noticed that they are held in place via fitting clips. So i'll just need to source the part they clip in to and attach it to my floor?

I would write them. When I spoke to them a while back they were willing to offer just the mats - around 3-400 euros I think.

They're the actual carpet not the "over mats", but they were produced later so they're for the 512TR/512M.
    Is your carpet Castoro?

The differences are the eyelets for the clips (see below), and the heel pads. You wouldn't technically need the clips but these are available - link below.

The early 512TR carpet didn't have the eyelets - here's an early blue set without them.

The shape of both that you sent make them look like actual floor mats since they don't have the circled cutouts for the seat rails as in the photo below.

Trust me, they're "carpets". The bottom edge and backing material varied throughout the production.

Here's the link to the 512M carpets - bottom edge matches the Castoro set
    https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v12/testarossa-group/f512m/carpets.html

And 512TR carpets - matches the blue set
    https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v12/testarossa-group/512tr/carpets.html

Latter 512TR's do have the eyelets as the 512M carpets/mats.

    Testarossa carpets - https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v12/testarossa-group/testarossa-1990/seats-and-carpets.html

And you'll note that the backing material for the blue set is similar to the Testarossa backing.

Again, these are not strictly Testarossa carpets, so they will be different from yours, but they are "carpets" rather than the mats one would place
    over the carpets.
