Thanks guys.I know a couple of those cars, but a few are new to me.I will make some calls.Anyone else?
Wow....A bit off the topic but, man...this is practically BRAND NEW. She is stunning. BTW, how many of these were built and approx. how many are left? Does anyone know?
18 were built as F40 LMs from the ground up. One was built from an F40 prototype. I think they are all still accounted for; although there have been mishaps through the years. Note that only a couple were ever really raced. What a pity... List of S/Ns is at http://www.qv500.com/ferrarif40p7.htm
Auric Goldfinger, aka 6.0: there are reputedly TONS for sale in south cali. Have your dealer beat the bushes and check with people who have them and might let them go. That's oftentimes the best way to get into one. And be prepared to wait if you want a good car. Like 6 months to a year. Or more in some cases. --Dan
I sold my last F40 in 94,and have been looking for a car for 2 years.Just thought someone here might know of one.I know the normal ways to find a car,was just taking a shot.
That cars tires are dry rotting. I got some pics from the guy selling it. He said the owner only drove it the first month he owned, then put it in a garage.
Hi A.J., I have a killer 91 with full services, no stories, never tracked. $300K makes her yours. By the way, happy birthday. Mine was the day before yours. Cheers, Bill Noon
I spent a few years looking for one myself, and got her in April. Still can't wipe the smile off my face. Good luck with your search!
