I just took some parts out for that reason.
Im sure others have more experience than I do, but if you’re careful, you’ll do fine.
The Mode Set panel is just pressed in. I popped mine out with a dull spackle type of tool. Just be gentle from the side.
Kind of the same thing with the mirror switch plate in the console. It’s also just pressed in.
The door handles have a Phillips Head screw that’s a little tough to get. Make sure you can press down hard when unscrewing !!! Too small a screw driver is not good.
Taking them out can be tedious. The arm rest also just lifts off from the door opening end. It might help you visually before you get started removing the handles. The handle cup or cradles, whatever they’re called are held in by one screw. The driver side is covered by a little piece of leather. That is held down with some black glue type silicone that is used all over the place by Ferrari. UGH. It does serve the purpose though.
Take pictures as you go and be careful with the micro switches that are attached to the handles. They are held in with flat metal clips that only go in one way. Very important that you don’t mix the two switches.
The air vents are also just pressed in, but the molded on clips break off easy. One good way to pull them straight out is to use two pullers like in my picture. I use trampoline spring pulls.
I have more pictures if you want.
Like I said, it’s my first time, so I’m hoping you get more advise and hopefully people agree with what I’ve done.
Some parts, I actually cleaned without removing. Some I actually bought used replacement parts and switched them out. I didn’t want my car to sit waiting to get the parts back. Also in the past, I removed the steering column surrounding to clean it and paint it myself. It all depends on how much time and money you want to spend.
No matter what, take your time and ask questions if in any doubt !!!!!!!!!!!
    Dinner Time !!!!!
    TTYS,
    Dominic

Please do not take the advice in that video above, every car is different on how to remove the stickiness. there is NO one size fits all. Also, GooGone as well as other cleaners will sometimes stain or discolor leather and other stuff you get it on. Funny he doesn't mention any of that in the video. Removing them is the ONLY way to refinish them properly and not risk messing up other parts of your interior. We have a few 430 videos as well as 360 vids that your welcome to view on our website.

Dominic, Dude, thanks so much this is very helpful!

Whatever was advised in the video I’m not even thinking of trying to do that haha. To each his own, but that’s not my cup of tea.

Getting sticky gunk on the rest of your interior when taking out these parts is inevitable. Minimize it, but when you do have some gunk you need to take off, DON'T USE GOO GONE. It will remove your leather dye. Coleman camp fuel is the trick. Very lightly wipe any sticky area with a rag with a bit of camp fuel and it should lift right off and not affect your dye. However, don't soak any area with the camp fuel oil, because it still contains solvent.

Isn't this just "naphtha"? Might be cheaper to just buy a small container of that at Home Depot. I use it to thin out enamel paint when I spray since it "flashes" very quickly.
