You guys have been very helpful with my finding a nice 456 (almost have one locked up right now ... Fingers crossed!) - now I am looking for a space in NYC to park; just one space. Judging from all the threads I read, it looks like you all have found some self-parking (Murray St. seems to be out these days) and I am on the Upper West Side - but glad to hear of all possibilities!

If I have to park it where I currently keep my truck, I think my garage guys will eat it. Badges first ...

... and with all this help, clearly I owe some drinks next time you guys make it out in the city ... glad to supply em'!

    Thx again, JJ

I am on 83rd, CPW and Columbus (some of the most expensive parking in the city; one of the beneifts of Senifeld as neighbor) - I currently park on 70th and West End, so I am willing to look anywhere, but west side is preferable. Thx again!

    monthly is reasonable too

I have lived with ferraris in manhattan for over a decade now, before that xke and maserati merak...it is a tough town to be a car guy. precious few park/lock left in manhattan...the "Trump" lot they are all taking about (62/11th --actually one westend ave.) is OUTDOORS! Trump city is expanding ad they just lost about 500 to 1000 spaces and they now do valet parking and charge big for outdoor park/lock monthly.

I have lots of info and i have been trying on/off for years to get together an informal Ferrari owners of manhattan club for all these and other type of issues. I fyou still need a 456 let me know, they just announced the 456 spider so expects berlinetas to become more plentiful esp. for the summer hamptons season. I am on the westide near Columbus circle. NEVER let a valet park your f-car..ask me how i know.

That's actually what this board is. Lots of us Manhattan-ite F-car owners. (Ok, one of us on the EAST and WEST coast) Ask pchop about valets. Actually, just search this forum for the pics. :-(

As for the lot on 62 & WEE -- Nope, it's indoors and you can park and lock.

$200 a month. Or something insanely cheap. I was paying $600 downtown near my old loft.

Noto, JC, Hubi, Noah, Vik? Anyone else care to weigh in?

The Ferrari underground ... I love it! Too funny - I read about PChop, wow, and I imagined Ferris Bueler's day off was about as bad as it could get ...

dont know much about uptown parking.
downtown (greenwich village area) i park all 3 of my cars and its a breeze.
park and lock. expect to pay $600 with big tips each time you get the car.
i have been driving and parking for 10 years in manhattan. it is not a big deal
regardless of what kind of car you have.

from my experience, any garage will be willing to accomadate your car with
your special requests (car cover/park and lock, even have them wash the car for you.) but you just have to let them know from day 1 that you will take care of them.

Are you guys talking about the lot in the building just one block north of western beef that is on the dead end that is really valet but they will "let" you p/l on the lower level? Or is this a real full time p/l...lot...dying to know. right now i have a "deal" that lets me p/l but hte guy is getting greedy and they are slowly uping the "shakedown" on me. would love to move ...

I have a p/l garage that is combined with Valet on 31st b/w lex and 3rd. Indoor, heated 24/7. It might be worth checking into if you don't mind the trek from the Upper West. But I agree with JC, you can convince mostly any garage to accomadate you, but you will have to take care of them..... and tip, tip, tip and then tip again

i use to have an apartment on 32nd between 3rd/lex. i know the
garage you are talking about the one underneath windsor court.
very big underground lot. great parking. the entrance/exit clearance
was not that good for low cars though.

The lot we're all referring to on 62 and West End is in the dead end by the Western Beef. Parking is $300/month for park and lock, and all of it is covered, whether you valet or park & lock.

You could choose the outdoor lot closer to the river, but I wouldn't park my Fcar there...

if u plan to park in tribeca, give me a PM and i can tell u where i park my car. 2 bearing beams on each side of your car with a wall behind you. no door dings possible. other spaces available like mine available. and they park in the front so they always have a view of it. and no need to call 30 min+ ahead before u take the car out. just go in the garage and take it out anytime 24 hours a day. my best parking spot in manhattan that i have parked at since 1996.

nice empty second floor for p/l cars that also like to be covered, agree, trump lot is not good for an f car - it is also outdoors. there is also a nice big roomy lot near teh hosp. / john jay that welcomes p/l with private spot,I deal with Khalid but I have been there too long and it is getting too chummy and ths tip$ are getting a little too extravagant, will change for the summer driving season....they have always beenreal nice to me when I have checked out the 62nd street indoor lot. the whole area is losing all its car garages and support and gas stations to development...manhattan getting increasingly car hostile... gasateria was always conveninet and I used a body shop near the con/ed station for detailing..oh well...thanks to all fellow NYC'ers
